People all across the United States and around the world are protesting, week after week, in outrage at Donald Trump’s authoritarian abuses of power.
Today, after accepting payments from the Russian government, allowing Russian spies to attack the USA without punishment, and lowering sanctions on Russia out of fear that dictator Vladimir Putin’s blackmail kompromat will be released, Donald Trump defended Putin during a television interview. We shouldn’t be so bothered by Vladimir Putin’s assassination of political dissidents, Donald Trump says, because in the USA, we do the same thing.
Donald Trump excused Vladimir Putin’s brutality by suggesting that Trump himself would do the same.“There are a lot of killers. We’ve got a lot of killers What do you think? Our country’s so innocent?”
This comment was in response to news today that yet another Russian dissident, Vladimir Kara-Murza, appears to have been poisoned by Vladimir Putin’s spies – from the same spy agency for which the Trump Administration just lowered sanctions.
Either Donald Trump has absolutely no idea what he is talking about, or he is preparing to become a brutal American dictator inspired by Vladimir Putin. Either way, Donald Trump is a national embarrassment.
